Page 1 is a non-0 amount into the book, with the intro in Roman numerals :-) That intro makes the rest of the book sound intriguing, reminding me of Caste and perhaps The Sum of Us, but with obvious differences (ie race does not appear to be one of the big issues in this book, more the class differences).
