No seriously but that's what gr is good for ; vicarious reading. Like, right now, Mala is reading John's Wife. And Jonathan, The School for Atheists. It's not 'virtual' reading ; it's vicarious. And me? Just knowing that this kind of thing is going on makes up for all kinds of despair....
I mean, typically, it's seeing Geoff reading another Vollmann brick, another Pynchon brick, another Whatever brick, that makes my day....
For sure - I'm still around enough to give out a few of the 'likes' to let y'all know I'm vicariously appreciating the lovely reading going on around here - it is a wonderful thing even from afar. Hope-raising! And hopefully I'll find myself back to some kind of normal reading habits sometime soon (fingers toes etc. crossed stars wished on wishbones snapped salt tossed over shoulder u.s.w)
I mean I was gonna try to do Rabelais & Women and Men and RURD & Zettel's this year ! Something's gotta give!
