This is making me want to cry over characters who were never even alive when the book started!!! This man! I think I’m gonna read some psychological horror after this because omg my novel fixation on the AIDS epidemic, although fascinating, has made me cry too much for a while.

Holy shit… Holleran bringing me to tears again. I love Sutcliffe. He reminds me of Sutherland—who I loved, too. I really hope Lark can be happy. He’s too much like me. I don’t want us to both end up the same.
