I just finished Tulip Fever by Deborah Moggach, the author of Best Little Marigold Hotel and eight other books. An historical fiction book, it is set in 17th century Amsterdam featuring a young wife living on the Herensgracht and an artist Jan van Loos, who may be a fictionall character or actually the famous still life painter Jacob van Loos.
