I think these mysterious dark-robed figures wandering around an abandoned house at night belong to the demon cult. Not certain, but it seems like a reasonable assumption.

Very mixed opinions so far on this. Really love Harcourt as a character, and I'm hooked by the plot, but my enjoyment of the story is constantly being interrupted by bursts of annoyance at the writing style.
