This is so good so far!
I decided to watch all the movies it references that I’ve never seen before I read the corresponding essay, so I’ve watched a lot in the last few days: Pet Semetary, Grace (I was not expecting this to be so overtly sapphic??), the blob, and society. Up next: Godzilla.
I actually watched both the 50’s and 80’s version of the blob. The 80’s version had 10/10 special effects.
