This book is about a boy who thought a stone would help him make money but he was wrong. This stone was a dragon egg and now he is a rider. However he can't be caught by the king or else he would be killed. The boy's name is Eragon with his dragon named Sapphria. So far Eragon was attacked by the king's Knights but who knows if he survived or not.

The reason I chosen this book is because it has action in it and it has dragons. The main character can talk to his dragon with is mind which is really cool. However there is a character that always nag on Eragon because he has a huge destiny.
