I know it sounds pretentious and smug, but I think I'm too advanced to be surprised by anything in this book. It's a fun read, but it just feels... predictable? I love her writing ability and how she makes these characters, but I don't know why it's considered one of the best mysteries/thrillers ever written. It's good, it's amazing writing, but it's not a challenging plot. Maybe it's because I've played danganronpa.

Well-written. This author is able to make an unreliable narrator in a way I have never seen before.

I rescind my previous statement. This may be more complicated than I thought. Regardless, I still think Amy is behind everything.

I think it's pretty obvious what happened. I already kinda knew there was a plot twist because of the words people use when they discuss the book, but I don't really know the details. That said, this is a no-brainer. She did it to herself. She wants him to find her. Every anniversary, Amy leads Nick on a scavenger hunt to find his gift. This year, the gift is her, and she thinks it'll save their marriage. Right?
