So Agresto seems to be a neocon according to his wiki, with some questionable connections to the Iraq war, the Cheneys, and Reagan. All bad signs. But I saw him on C-Span a couple years ago promoting this book, and he had some interesting ideas.

The failures and little deaths of liberal arts education are also part of Capitalist Realism, btw. How can a society that demands everyone always be focused on making money (either for themselves or, through their entertainment choices, for someone else) maintain the study of the liberal arts?
