just a fucking nothing sandwich. literally nothing has happened so far, and when stuff has happened, it was completely undercut by the author going on unnecessary tangents filled with descriptions trying to be funny and interesting. It’s never either of those things. I don’t need to know ON THE FIRST PAGE that Carter is wondering if Ruth B Ginsburg enjoyed watching him have sex. It didn’t need to know that.
