Two chapters left of this delightful little book. [It's not 208 pages but 171.] Had an interesting revelation when reading the chapter on the avant garde: if you just replace avant garde art with "vanguard party" you get some interesting quotations, haha.

This book about boredom is far, far, far less boring than some might imagine! I'm wary of saying it's the "opposite" of boring, though, since according to the book the opposite of boredom is not "interesting" but the "sublime". But maybe it is sublime…?
