I am pleasantly surprised ☺️ these books do follow certain cliches, but they’re definitely not that toxic/bad. it’s so very refreshing to read!! i love how ruby doesn’t walk around like a lovesick mary sue, but actually speaks her mind and makes fair points (i.e she isn’t responsible for james’ happiness or wellbeing )
