"Then nobody desires bad things,... unless he wishes to be [miserable]. For what is the depth of misery other than to desire bad things and to get them?" I want cake for the momentary yummy satisfaction even though I know it's bad for me... I've discovered that reading this out loud as a dialog helps with understanding, though the reading is even slower. XD
