It somehow feels like too much has been crammed in to the story and timeline yet we’re not really getting anywhere, but at the same time I’m still enjoying it. I’m very conflicted with how I feel about this book.

Still hate Varrish. It’s getting a little tedious that bad things keep happening to her in what feels like every chapter. I’m halfway through the book and I’m not sure I feel like a huge amount has developed that couldn’t have been told in half the time. I’m still enjoying it despite that but I hope something good happens soon.
