out of all the characters Xiao Chiye was the last one i suspected of having the “i can fix them” attitude
also i’m still really sad for Li Jianheng and the whole emperor situation — for a minute i thought he was begging to like it, however i fear i was mistaken

Firstly, those few chapters really helped me understand the complexity of Xiao Chiye’s character. Secondly, the tragedy of Li Jianheng and all that had happened to him during just those few pages makes my stomach ache. Why is this danmei full of tragic men…….
