how is it? i read this in high school with my first black english teach, ms jefferson (🫶🏾), and my memory of it is fading. maybe time for a reread

How do you respond to comments on here!?!! By ok, this is shockingly my first time reading it. I haven’t read anything by Toni Morrison in a while and just really felt like I needed to pick up and read one of her books lately? This one felt right to read right now and I’m glad I started it. This book is so beautifully written and is making me think about how I (and so many of us) were treated and talked to growing up. Didn’t want to put it down and hate that I had to because I needed to sleep!?!!

So glad it's been a meaningful read. always an arthur when sleep (and factory clock) get in the way of a good cathart
