Great analysis of the film and how it was done frame by frame with the starts and stops and explanation of multiple triggers configurations. The shadows discussion and mapping photos helped a lot and I really wish this book had color photos. I don’t need as many questions posed throughout, or “I have experience” statements because they’re getting old, but the book still has great info.

The emergence of CGI with Jurassic Park was interesting and Munns was involved in Universal Studios E.T. attractions. Chapter 5 was logical in location cheating, but Bob Heironimous was misquoted about being only one take.

Munns goes over his experiences in school and the various disciplines he not only studied but taught as well. Very interesting and diverse portfolio which allows him more credibility to do a proper analysis of the PGF. Some technical aspects are over my head, but I’m sure they speak to someone. Just want to get into the nitty gritty, but may be 2 more chapters or so.

Already I’m going a little crazy with the severe lack of editing and typos, but the book is so highly recommended that I’ll have to power through and find the gold. I wish the Kindle version had color photos!
