Originally, I picked up this book because of the subtext "a psychological thriller"....
...but then I read the synopsis (which I don't usually do) and it said...
-the FMC is a nurse (Girl! Me too)
-the setting is in Charlotte, NC (*looks around*... *gasp* Ugh! Me too✋🏽 --NATIVE!)
BUT, we're 100 pages in, and I'm looking left and right, trying to figure out which way we're heading with this🤨.
