I do usually try to read through the entirety of forewords out of respect for the editor that compiled the stories together and to read their analysis but this time I did not. So we'll see if that impacts anything I guess. I think it can usually sway how I feel about an author and their works if I know about the author themselves, which is something I also try and avoid.
