I always forget how much I freaking love Lupin and Tonks

"No!" Lupin looked wildly from Ginny to Harry, as though hoping the latter my contradict her, but when Harry did not, Lupin collapsed into a chair beside Bill's bed, his hands over his face. Harry had never seen Lupin lose control before; he felt as though he was intruding upon something private, indecent. ~ I CANT ~

"DON'T--" screamed Snape, and his face was suddenly demented, inhuman, as though he was in as much pain as the yelling, howling dog stuck in the burning house behind them -- "CALL ME COWARD!"

I remember the first time I read this scene back in 2005 in the early hours of the morning, having been reading the book straight through since I had gotten it at the midnight release. I had never felt so betrayed by a book character as I did in this moment.

"Severus..." The sounds frightened Harry beyond anything he had experienced all evening. For the first time, Dumbledore was pleading. ~ NOPENOPENOPE ~

"I am not worried, Harry," said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. "I am with you." 3 MY HEART

SAD. SAD THINGS ARE COMING.
