This doesn't read like a Robin Hobb book. The characters are unrecognisable. Fitz is...different. He thinks, speaks, and acts in ways he didn't before. Perhaps the issues are so obvious to me because I read four Robin hobb books in a row this year, and have read a total of five. I just have a hard time believing she wrote this. The voice of this book is completely different. It's just plain odd.
