After reading the introduction I am surprised to hear that the authors argument is not to rid ourselves of the evil technology of smart phones. But rather, like any technological advancement, how can we use it wisely. It's not money that is evil, it's the love of money that is the root of it all.

Someday, we'll look back in bewilderment at the smartphone in the same way our own kids view the rotary style phone that lived on the wall. It's easy to point the finger at new tech, but did people condemn the phone over the written hand? There is be a more advanced way to communicate and we'll long for the days of the "simple smartphone".
So how do we live with it, using it appropriately and for the glory of God?
