Could not get into this book. By 50 pages I know this isn't the book for me. A Forrest Gump of music, I did not like the premise of either this or Gump. Maybe others who enjoyed Forrest Gump will like this better. DNF.

Observations so far: -Narrator is Music - Music sprinkles its essence on gifted musicians when they are born -Frankie Presto born during Spanish Civil War and smuggled to America. Should be interesting.
