In the Atlantis Complex, the main charactor is Artemis Fowl the genius son of a multi-billionaire underground businessman. He has, in the past couple of books become a kinder and more mature boy since the recovery of his supposedly dead father and the friends he made doing so. He has also developed out of his greedy self that was able to defeat an entire legion of fairys and gain valuable gold and technology.
