I have not enjoyed ANY of this: MC’s damn near insufferable - 1. Writing style & storytelling: flat, boring, absent, amateur-like; ()s are constant and read as the author (who’s voice is already awkward and just there) saying “which BTW” instead of writing literally EVERY page. Maria’s journals sound like the author trying to write like who MC is in his head, not consistent with how MC is written otherwise.
