I realize I have broken the dreaded seal-of-goodreads-comments but oh my god. Please establish trust instead of this stupid supernatural wanting-to-jump-Akiva's-bones-or-maybe-just-hug-it-out nonsense. Please. Like, this is the famous devil and angel who fall in love, right? If so, this is a really boring and hard-to-get-attached-to way to do it.

jsyk i've been at this point for days because i don't know if i can put up with this long enough to figure out exactly how weird karou/akiva is. 90% sure we're not gonna find out who karou is till marrakesh because of course he's had an epiphany and they're splitting up.

If this instalove/weird fated-seeming attraction nonsense is because <spoiler>Karou's somehow Madrigal reincarnated or something</spoiler> I will absolutely revolt. I am impatient with this. Make it more interesting or get back to the plot soon, please. Only upside is she's getting a lot of info, which we've both been hungry for.
