Jayson is on page 147 of 158

Notes:
(1) This is literally a sequel in name only. The name and costume are the only ties to the original.
- It makes perfect sense for a teenage boy to name himself "Kick-Ass," but it doesn't fit this version and no explanation's given.
(2) This reminds me of when Jim Gordon became Batman for a bit.
- It's the same conceit that military experience begets superhero skills.

Jayson is on page 75 of 158

Notes:
(1) This starts pretty slow and mid, but really picks up once you get the fairly banal origin story out of the way.
- Mostly a credit to John Romita Jr., who knows how to draw action scenes.
(2) The biggest letdown so far is there's no connection at all to the original "Kick-Ass," not even a passing reference.
- It may as well be an alternate reality for all we know.

Notes:
(1) There's a "Big Game" reading order at the back of some Millarworld books. It lists all the series involved in the big line-wide crossover. This series, though, isn't on the list, but I'm reading it anyway. I'm a completist.
- It does make sense. If you're going to have Kick-Ass in your big crossover, you'd want the original, not this brand new (non-film) version.
