Truly not my favorite chapter this is because it's boring just reading about Ms Salmon going through a phase of cheating to get away from the murder of her daughter. Pointless, but again shows the message of trying to be free from once again her daughter Susie's murder. The family and especially the mom acts if she can't move on with there life without bringing up the tragic death of the Salmons.

Further and further into the book the unknown past of Mr Harvey come clear. He has been murdering and raping girls in different states, Susie is in fact not his only murder/rape case. This man in these chapters has control personally over the Salmons in ways of their emotions & lives all because of this feeling of wanting to be free from the imprint there sister&daughter Susie Salmons death effects them.

So far the excitement is still going & I've gotten to the scene where Lindsey who is Susie's sister breaks into George Harvey's house and takes the sketch of the contraption he made to lure Susie in the cornfield for evidence to give the police. But as she finds the evidence George walks in the house and she's forced to jump out the 2nd floor bedroom window.

An incident occurred with Mr.Salmon. He was caught in the corn fields with two teenagers but was a mistake because of his thought of the light going towards the cornfield from his window was George Harvey. Jack Salmon the father of 3 was beaten all over & was sent to the hospital because of "the obsession" of finding the murder to his daughters death. This scene is very intense great scene.

More & more flashbacks from Susie from her childhood focused mainly on her mother though and how she treated her and her sister. This is a big imprint that she still holds on to the earthly life with her loved ones. This focus that she has on her mother is caused by her mother being distant lately with her family but glows when she sees Len Fenerman the police officer for the case of Susie Salmons death.

from the start Mr.Salmon had a strange feeling about Mr.Harvey. He suspects that George Harvey has something to do with the murder of his daughter. but police authorities do not believe because there is no evidence on George.

Susie's death affects her mom the most in ways of her affecting the whole family

Susie even though dies in the beginning of the book still remains around her in heaven. When she watches her family & friends from heaven
