OMG for 4 books now, all I see every other line "that boy" "that girl" "the boy" "the girl." Every character says it...Not every character in the book is supposed to talk the same! It irks my soul & makes my big toe itch. It's insane & also every other sentence has "his(her) eyes searched my face." Its a good series but damn! stop with that "that boy(girl)" stuff. It's very annoying! Use proper nouns & pronouns some
