(1) One thing I enjoy about "Saga" is how it's often just literary fiction dressed up as a space opera.
- Nothing much happens here plotwise, but it's so thick with implications, subtext and subtle callbacks that there's lots to pick apart.
- It's like a slow-cook stew of character development, so when anything major happens, there's a rich gravy to enhance the meat.
