Lise and her family decide to go on a boat. Lise has never been on a boat in the ocean. Lise got onto the boat very nervous and got off of the boat feeling proud! After a few minutes on the boat Lises mom stopped the boat on a private island! Lises mom said that Lises grandmother used to live on this island all alone,and everyday Lises mom would go to the island everyday and drop food off everyday!

LIse and Free's mother decided to go on a trip for the entire summer. When their family got to the island Lise loved the way the beach looked but hated the house she and her family were staying in. Lise's mother has been making Lise do all of the work. I think Lise feels angry and frustrated towards her mom. On page 72 Lise says " My mom is as crazy like a fox, she ought to get a life". I feel sympathy towards Lise.

The main character in my book is name Lise. Lise has a brother named Free, and Free is five years old and has not said a single word. One day Lise's mom did not pick her and Free up at school. Lise and Free were very worried. When a police man arrived at their house, they found out that their mom had gotten ran over by a car. Lise and Free are probably felling frightened, and nervous. Lise really wants to see her mom
