The end of the book is probably the most important thirty pages of the book. The entire beginning of the is a build up for the end. The end begins with Wooden's famed Pyramid of Success. The pyramid takes all of the morals and principles previously explained throughout the book and teaches how to use them to reach success. The pyramid, in my opinion, is his most important accomplishment and can be used to help anyone

This section has been my favorite part yet. In this section, Mr. Wooden focuses directly on what success is and what it means to him. To him, success isn't graded on what how well one performs compared to the opponent, but rather against one's self. He strained the importance of preparation, and if one were to perfect their practicing, they could have peace of mind regardless of how others perceive the final result.

Many of the things discussed so far have not completely been related to things I encounter. Lessons on marriage, parenting, and other older people responsibilities didn't quite make sense to me at this point in my life. Other, more easily relate-able topics such as character or pride, are a lot more applicable to most people, regardless of who they are or what they've been through in life.

Upon finishing the prologue and letters to the author, I would say I'm pretty excited for this book. Coach John Wooden received a variety of praises from peers and past players including NBA greats Bill Walton and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Amongst the many praises, those that stand out the most are about his outstanding leadership and his great discipline when it comes to staying true to his morals and beliefs.
