I almost gave up on it but I had nothing to read on the train going home so I picked it up again and it actually got a little better. I will not be continuing with the series, at least not for now. After reading your reviews of the Eden series I am seriously thinking about picking them up again and doing a re-read. It's either that or Mandingo.
And that's ANOTHER series that I want to read, though I don't know if I'd be able to read one Mandingo book after another. :D
I read so many of your "Plantation Porn" books years ago, one after another, for about two years straight. I can see wanting to read something inbetween but they were quite a read back then.
I'd like to see if I'm up to a marathon of those books. :D
Last year when I read Mandingo, I really should have picked up the next in the series and continued, instead of grabbing a stupid Susan Johnson book and feeling like my brain exploded from the dumb. :P (Yes, I still remember...which is why important stuff has no place in my memory. LOL)
