The book took no time in reintroducing magic into an otherwise normal world. Nick and Alan have to learn how to deal with the devestating power that Nick has discovered. On top of that, every magician seems to be interested into the magical power that Jamie possseses, and is apparently something worth making a demon angry to obtain. So far the book is pretty good, and I can't wait to read more!
