So I’m loving the story… but I wish Victoria Hugo would stop going on about architecture. Don’t get me wrong, Gothic architecture is my favourite and I understand he was trying to make people care that it was being destroyed, but TWO CONSECUTIVE CHAPERS ABOUT NOTHING BUT ARCHITECTURE?!!! I want to look at architecture! I do not want to read architecture! Needless to say I skipped them. 🤷🏽‍♀️
