The character that I am going to choose in this reading is Rey. She is a woman with the force and is strong. She has a chill personality and is like a Tomboy. This book is fun to read since I watched the movie first, and now I'm reading it. Rey is a big fan of gadgets and building things and when she flew the Millenium Falcon off Jakku, she did it like a pro, with no experience whatsoever. She likes Jedi battles.

EXTRA CREDIT GOODREADS UPDATE: I have finished this book and realized that in the book as well in the movie, early disagreements can lead to conflicts because Han Solo's son Kylo Ren killed him because of their opposites. The book was different than the movie, and much topics were left out that were not in the movie, like when Kylo was solo flying a tie fighter to try to eliminate the Mellenium Falcon.

I would not like to be a character in this story because of all the violence going on in the galaxy. There is the dark side on every planet, and some planets are blown up. I would not insert myself as a new or existing character because I don't want to be in this realm. In addition, there are humans, but on those planets there are monsters and other creepy-like animals and hybrids.

Conflict. This element of plot structure regards my independent reading book because of the conflict between Kylo (leader of the resistance) and Han Solo. Han Solo is a man who fights against the resistance but his son is the evil Sith Lord and Han wants to get his son back to normal. It is a battle of opposites between the two. The outcome when Han talks one on one with his son, is his son kills him with a lighsaber

What happened in my book this week is when Kylo Ren (Han Solo's son) s mainly introduced. His light saber is scary, and he is the main leader of the resistance. In addition, Han Solo and Chewbacca are found on a spaceship that collects junk. Han gets the Millenium falcon back and Chewbacca is still strong with his crossbow. They are currently flying back to Jakku to hide from the resistance.
