Ooh, how is this one?

I’m not, not enjoying it? I feel like I am missing some understanding of how the main protagonist feels because she has such a different social experience than I have in my life. It means it’s a bit of an exercise for my empathy muscles as I work out why she is reacting the way she is at times. It’s also quite anger-full for a lot of the characters. That said, it’s an interesting story and the lore, while not entirely unique, isn’t bad. It took me a few to get into it though. Not a bad thing to read sometimes, but I’ll need something a bit happier for my next book I think.
