Sadie, Carter, and Bast go to Tennessee to see God of wisdom, Thoth about how to defeat Set. Thoth tells them that they have to say his secret name and get the feather of truth by Anubis. Carter, Sadie, Bast and Khufu go to the Underworld to talk to Anubis. Then he gives them the feather after they prove that they are honest to have it. I love reading adventure books because they are very interesting and exciting.

The gang arrives in El Paso, Texas and try to summon Nephoyts, but get attacked by crocodiles. Amos and his crocodile, Phillip help defeat the crocs and Amos, Carter, Muffin, Khufu, and Sadie go away from El Paso to defeat Set. I love reading Adventure books because they are very interesting and are very suspenseful such as the Percy Jackson series. l like to read on vacations and on weekends for 30 minutes per day.

A God named Zia takes Carter and Sadie to The House of Life to teach them magic and fighting, they have to go to Paris. Apathetic, posh, and complexion show perspective and tone in this story. Apathetic shows the perspective of the House of Life's Halls as uninteresting and boring. Posh shows the perspective of House of Life Library as fascinating and pleasing. Complexion shows the tone of a person by their look.

Cater, Sadie, and their dad to go a museum and their dad vanishes. Their uncle, Amos says that they have to kill a God named Sed to save their dad. A secondary source is, "Riordan greatly combines modern life with mythology and history, bringing back artifacts like the Rosetta Stone and ancient Egyptian stories." I like this quote because the connection from Egyptian culture to modern life is why I enjoy this book.

Cater , Sadie, and their dad to go an Egyptian exhibit and their dad summons 5 gods and mysteriously vanishes. Carter and Sadie's uncle, Amos says that they have to defeat one of the God's named Sed to save their dad. A secondary source is, "Once again, Riordan greatly combines modern life with mythology and history, bringing back dusty artifacts like the Rosetta Stone and revitalizing ancient Egyptian story lines."
