The audio version of this book is worth finding. This book is a must read. Trigger warning that her childhood trauma is detailed and is heart wrenching. The ending of this book was like a light held up in the darkness. Generational trauma, the power of love, the work it takes to heal… it is all there and presented so humanely. Be prepared to ugly cry in the best way possible.
