I'm sorry... I'm not liking this story at all... And today it struck me why... It's full of racist cliches. The black Mamie and the rambunctious little white girl, the abusive black man and the terrorizing white shit kicker hillbillies. Ugh. These tropes, while not meaning to be offensive, are really tired.
