Yes, even though I didn't like the first book I'm still trying to see if the next stories will progress better, but now...I'm doubting my intuition.
15 pages in and he decided to give a nonsense comment towards Madelleine, "...may maganda palang anak na dalaga si Colonel Alicante.", instead of comforting her. And also the female main character is not acting like her supposedly age in this book.

I can't stop laughing. Chapter 2, ang galing ng tactic ni Benjamin. And of course, misunderstanding. I'll still continue reading the book because I want to see what will happen in the next chapters.

I finished the first chapter. Still debating if I want to continue. I think my main issue with the book is the fact that Madellein just turned 18 and the guy is already 30. Like what the f???!!!! And him calling her baby, sweetheart, is such a cringe. 😑
