Been really slow the past few weeks with work

I decided to read this book partly because I wanted to get into something that would take a long time. I think I’ve hit the exact moment I’ve been looking for from other long, hard reading experiences: a mix of excitement to be in the center of something big and expansive, interest in what comes next, and frustration that I can’t read anything else. It’s a bogged-down sort of contentment.
