The first few pages is about Hitler Youth, teenagers who are extremists for Hitler's cause. Then the author talks about how he was the one called into the towns taken over by Nazis and how they would raise the white flag of surrender. The part I am on now, the war is over and franklin roosevelt is debating whether to kill all people on the spot who were related to nazi war crimes or to give them a trial.

Many people wanted the Nazis dead on the spot and no trial. Robert Jackson changed that, he called for a full fair trial. He wanted the world to respect this trial. He debated for weeks and finally he had won, there would be a full fair trial under Jackson's vision of justice.
