I think this was the most heartbreaking scene in this entire book; all the musicians that were never to be seen again. How music can bring people together, tear people apart and how it can be a bigger rebellious act than you think.

Yes I am down this rabbit hole again, wanted to give this book another try, because after reading this book last year, I really disliked Rowan. And also Manon gets introduced in this one💗. So I’m just gonna read the Aelin/Rowan and Manon perspectives, just skipping Chaol’s/Dorian’s because I don’t think I can handle Dorian becoming Valg again...
