Terrible. Can't finish it. Cringey. Cheesy.

There is a lot of silly dialogue. And the main character spends a lot of time describing his times on a small town and his interactions with residency. At first I was fine with it, but after listening to it more and more, I am getting annoyed. It seems there is 80% silly small town interactions and 20% of main plot (which is what I am interested in).

Story interesting so far, and I'm about halfway through the audiobook. Definitely some cheesy and cringey dialogue. But the main plot has me intrigued. Just finished a cringey part and makes it worse when the narrator is speaking it. Between King's description of a sexual moment, and the narrator's reading it, I am stuck praying for it to end. lol. But the story keeps me going.
Will see how the rest goes...
