I’m sensing a pattern between a lot of fantasy books
1. MC must be a long-lost queen of some doomed kingdom
2. MC must be the “chosen one” and/or have unique powers
3. Love interest must be king/heir to another kingdom’s throne (usually the enemy kingdom) and must have fought in many battles/be very powerful
4. Love interest must deal with FMC in denial of the love they have for each other for at least half the book

the way this is accurately depicting the fantasy series i’m reading right now besides number 3 (even then it’s just that he’s not an heir or king but he has fought battles)
