Jayson’s Reviews > Jupiter's Legacy, Vol. 4 > Status Update

Jayson
Jayson is on page 50 of 136

Notes:
(1) A continuity error to start. I checked, and last volume's time jump sets the present day as 2022, whereas this book says it's 2020.
- Nevertheless, still the future.
(2) Reminds me a bit of "Crisis on Infinite Earths," where the early issues are just gathering team members from various places.
(3) Of course Skyfox's old hideout is decorated in mid-century modern.

Jayson’s Previous Updates

Jayson
Jayson is on page 123 of 136

Notes:
(1) Well, that was a disappointing finale. The little plot it has is pretty weak, and mostly just bookends an issue-long battle.
- Again, just wraps things up way too quick, like overturning a chessboard instead of finishing the game.
(2) President Elizabeth Warren? I guess.
- I can't tell if it's wishful thinking or a joke. Knowing Millar, probably just shock value.

Jayson
Jayson is on page 94 of 136

Notes:
(1) Decent stuff, though it all seems quite rushed and plot-light.
- Feels like one of those stories that's sketched out rough, with the artist meant to fill it out with action.
(2) I wish there were more Brandon scenes so his descent into megalomania isn't so out of the blue.
- I mean, this is a multi-generational family series and I don't even know his wife's name.

Jupiter's Legacy, Vol. 4

Jayson
Jayson is starting

Notes:
(1) About to start the fourth book and I still have no clue what the title refers to.
- Is Brandon Jupiter in that he usurped his father?
- Is Sheldon Jupiter in that he's the king of the "gods" and the current generation of "heroes" are his legacy? Are his ideals his legacy?
- Are the aliens from the planet Jupiter and superpowers are the legacy of an extinct world?
