this book is bad! can’t tell if the narrator is old man landon carter or teenage landon carter. the stupid use of parentheses and “if you know what i mean” suggests teen but then consistently saying that’s how things were “back in the day” is a lazy execution of an old man’s tone. either way it’s fucking annoying.
