Less than 50 pages in & I had to check the acknowledgments to see if the author did any research into how medical education works. She shadowed an ER doctor; her research ends there. A simple google would’ve told her that oncology is a fellowship post residency (not a residency itself), that oncology fellows don’t simply SWITCH specialties mid-way through the year & only derm does Botox/fillers 🤦🏼‍♀️
