Ruined the whole book

I’m no expert on relationships but I don’t think this is consentual

I must be crazy because he said “her brown skin” but that is a very white woman on the cover

I lost count of the amount of time “he was seething with anger”

Why is he angry that she doesn’t trust him??
He hasn’t given her any reason to trust him. Even worse he has given her every reason NOT to trust him

How did she go from calm controlled woman to she-bursts-out-in-tears-every-chapter
I’m not complaining but it’s weird

I went from just raging every time Amias talked to laughing
And not because he makes jokes or anything but because he sounds so stupid 😭

Wow okay he just did a full 360 in a single chapter
He went from a rude ignorant taken man to a nice flirty single man???

What kind of effect did Ann have on that man
